Life Update:
We are moving! Day 1 had some complications, but overall we got some really good work done! We are going to need to pause since I have track practice. Most everything is moved out though! We have a few appliances and a bunch of miscellaneous things. Hoping to have everything out soon.

I remind myself of this as a husband, father, Coach, and teacher. When we wear multiple hats, we can’t wear all the hats at the same time. Something has to give. Make sure to make cuts in the areas that are least important.
To perform well in one area, you have to underperform in other areas.
We can't be great at all things at all times.
The key is being intentional and choosing wisely. Periodize your life, and be clear on what matters. Know what you're maximizing and what you're satisficing.

I did it! It was 2 years of insanely hard work, but I finally get to celebrate the completion of my masters degree!

Completed my first Half Marathon since 2018. Ran in the finale of the San Antonio Rock n’ Roll Half. It was a beautiful course!

Illinois and New York had its dominance at XC for a long time. It’s looking like the Colorado and Utah are dominating now. Texas will have their day, but we still have work to do on the biggest stages. Carroll has unlocked the secret. I think other Texas schools will start to figure it out as well.

Looks like scores have finished adjusting. The dust settles, Herriman snuck past Carroll in the final stretch of the race knocking them off the podium.

Unless something crazy happens in the last K, Herriman may be off the podium. Carroll, who was ranked 6th nationally, may be squeeze in if they can hold off AF and Herriman.
