I can't wait to grip this new collection of poems in my hot little hands! (Forthcoming from in April.) In love with the title...it's what I imagine the word Freedom to be.

Gutting news coming out this morning on the killing of Chef Mahmoud. Each day he worked tirelessly to provide life saving meals to the children, never complaining, coming up with meals made of little, but every conceivable way to bring joy & a smile to Gaza’s children. He never lost hope or faith

What can we do to heal the world's horrors? I say a prayer for each body roadside: the opossum, squirrel, iguana, sign the cross. I don't know if I believe in prayer but I believe in light. I visualize the columns emanating in all directions.
