The seasons are common nouns, not proper nouns, so they are not usually capitalized.

Halfway through "Qualia the Purple," by Hisamitsu Ueo. Not really digging this one so far, sad to say. It has an interesting concept or two, but it's just not that well written. The protagonist doesn't work for me, and the plot is giving me some bad tonal whiplash.
