Finally through the process and seeing the apartment soon. The building is in a nice area since it was built before the city gentrified. Things are looking better, even with the likelihood of losing Medicaid, because I‘ll finally be able to relax. It feels like I’ve been in fight or flight forever.
Just got notification in the mail that they finally reached me on housing list. Too bad I need Medicaid as well in order to keep healthcare. The hope of getting away from my abusive family and getting therapy was nice while it lasted.

Odd turnabout: A family member who constantly made jokes about black people and calling ebt cards “n* credit cards” despite me constantly explaining why it is wrong hasn’t said the n word since trump took office and is now pissed they’re giving his tax money to the rich instead of the poor.
