Kenny Omega actually has the least gaming credits on that cover if you believe like MobyGames does that Tetsuya Naito (16yo?) cooked up the Wild Arms 1 soundtrack.

If you buy this game you will own 1/3 of all the games that Kenny Omega is in. Whereas you would only own 1/8th of all the games my mom Hiroshi Tanahashi is in. (Which would be a fraction of the games you'd have to buy to own every videogame Austin Creed is credited for: 18)

The book itself said he worked on the book for one year and turned the scope down because he didn't want it to turn into a multi-year project (which itself came off like an excuse to avoid his gap in research on JP and PAL RPGs - and more honestly just pick his favorites) is the book incorrect?

These games essays aren't ANY of those though. They are researched and measured but without feeling like they are critically distanced from the game. The essays stand alongside the work, while still representing an archive of the work like LPs and Close Playing. By focusing on the oratory tradition!

Let's Plays are this dense archive of information, something of a frozen time capsule (or a knotted clump in a drain). Games Critique has an important detachment from games. Close Plays are more for preserving play, like a book pressing. Podcasting/Streams are impromptu and reflexive
