As we head into summer, remember to keep combustion vehicles away from dry grass as they have a tendency to do this.🔥
This happened in NZ and 28 vehicles were damaged. Hopefully combustion cars won't cause too many forest fires this season.

Imagine having someone in government who’s prepared to confront the lies and simplistic nonsense the fossil lobby spew out every day.
It's important to call this stuff out.

“This cover-up is a national scandal. It confirms that Australia’s key regulators are either incompetent or captured by the gas industry, or both,” said @markogge.bsky.social.

“That there are no consequences for gas companies failing to act on a major leak of methane for 20 years is a disgrace."
Gas leak cover-up shows Australian governments are captured by the gas industry
It's been revealed that Santos’ Darwin LNG gas export terminal has been leaking large amounts of climate-destroying methane gas for 20 years - and gas

Better to farm solar for energy
than to farm crops to use for biofuels

Far better

1 hectare annual yield:

2t soy bean
➡️ 800 litres biodiesel ➡️ 8.29 MWh

70t sugar cane
➡️ 7000 litres ethanol ➡️ 57.5 MWh

600 kW solar
➡️ ➡️ 900 MWh (low estimate)

Some people seem concerned about the time it takes me to charge my EV. It's not a problem. Really, it isn't. Just like charging my phone isn't a problem.
Maybe these people struggle charging their phone. 🤔

@ludicrousfeed.bsky.social I wonder if Livingtonshire will stop using stainless steel. That's where the "dirty nickel" is used. Not for EVs.

Oh god it really did. In retrospect I'm glad we fixed that.
Now let's do the same with combustion car exhaust. Not only is it also gross but it causes all manner of illnesses.
I mean, who doesn't want clean air?

How many home #battery installations could be installed in #Australian homes for the price of a #nuclear power plant in Australia? this would solve the issues of excess #solar and #renewable generation during the day, it will create demand charging them all, and remove the demand at peak use.
