Keeping them in power also sends message that we’re okay with this kind of soft fascism/fascism by appeasement and allows them to keep the baseline for the party far to the right of where it should be.

Never been a favorite of mine and I adore Lynch, but the last time I watched it I was struck by the degree to which it sets the template for Tarantino’s whole career (which I can’t imagine is an original observation).

Like Musk, she’s a dumb person’s idea of smart. In the same way that Trump is a vulgarian’s idea of a rich man, or Rubio an imbecilic zealot’s idea of an informed moderate. They all deserve each other and fit like pieces of a hastily-cut and incomplete jigsaw puzzle.
