Yeah I have. I know the basic back of the box outline of the plot so I’m good. I really wanted to get to it and I just couldn’t put it off anymore.

This is also just deeply amateur hour. Judge Xinis ruled (1) there was no removal order; and (2) even if there were, his continued detention violates Zadvydas; and (3) there's a lurking due process problem.

Getting the IJ to issue a nunc pro tunc order addresses (1), but makes (2) and (3) WORSE.

For our blessed non-lawgeek friends, "nunc pro tunc" means "now for then." The concept is that an order issued by a court now can be applied retroactively as if it had been issued earlier.

Yes, it's a thing. I haven't seen one issued like this before, but, yes, it is a real thing.
