Going to say it again - if your business model can't exist without theft, then it should not exist at all.

Don't even get me started on hitting that perfect beat.

Another thing I'm impressed by: Gillen has actually gotten me to empathize with Jacky Magus. I don't agree with his actions, but I can see how he got there. It would be easier to make him a straight-up villain. Instead, he's Doctor Strange with scruples.

So. #ThePowerFantasy No. 12. I have to admit I did not see that coming. Should have known better that @kierongillen.bsky.social and @casparw.bsky.social can always surprise me. You people really have to pick this series up. I want it to keep going for a long, long time.

I am a long way from the kid who was raised a fundamentalist Christian, but I am still pretty sure someone is going to hell for this.

love that we had a whole national reckoning over the media's coverage of Biden's advanced age and none of the scolds who High Horsed us can be bothered to spend even a minute reflecting on the fact that Trump has basically become Mr. Burns in the "Spruce Moose" episode of THE SIMPSONS

‘Speculation like this is bound to have some humans wondering why we need to do this to ourselves, and considering the efficacy of sledgehammers. Perhaps AI will get to that point on its own.’

A fun and informative thread about Thomas Pynchon, one of
my favorite authors and a contender for the Greatest American Novelist.

Alright, let's do it. Here's a little prospective reader's guide to every Thomas Pynchon novel. We'll take them in order of publication. This might be a long thread. Buckle up! 1/x

So I don’t watch a lot of commercials. Some of these are just jokes, right? Like, there’s really not a show on The Learning Channel about a woman who punches her boyfriend in the balls?

Man, that car ride in the last episode of #Task. I really loved it. The whole series feels like it’s falling into place like gravity.
