It gave me loads of ideas for next time I do some work with young men

It was this tragic murder of women by a man which sparked Canadian men to start White Ribbon Canada. 10 years later I started White Ribbon UK and a few years ago helped set up Male Allies Challenging Sexism all working to challenge men to end all our violences against women. We must do more

Women were already banned from becoming doctors (as of 2022), but yesterday the Taliban announced women could no longer become nurses and midwives, shuttering institutions where women were enrolled. Given the sex segregation in care, this is severely endangers women’s health.
