The Big Arch is back at Irish McDonald’s and they have also added packets of Big Mac sauce to the menu. People have been asking for that in the states for AGES. I am happy.

The people who we rented our Christmas tree from essentially abandoned it with us. They didn't have any more pick ups planned in our area and just gave us the deposit fee back and told us to keep it. So it's ours now and I hope it lives a long time.

It seems as if going out with the Family for a Christmas Eve lunch is “a thing” here, so a few weeks ago we made a reservation at the River Court Hotel. It looked nice from the castle grounds today.

My eldest arrived yesterday front he states, so we went into Kilkenny for the last day of the Christmas market. We then made a spontaneous tour of the Castle since I hadn’t been before.
