Tell stories. Write stories. Read stories. Watch stories. Make your life a story.

I am not exaggerating: the future depends on it.

People keep mistaking genuine horror for politicking.

The people who supported the DOJ under Biden/Trump condone child rape. They defended officials who protected child rapists.

Other people saw this as a clear moral horror and condemned the DOJ. That's the actual divide. It's not between parties.

Perhaps 2026 will be the year when everyone who thinks they can do something better than what's on offer will just go ahead and do it themselves.

A few days before Thanksgiving I received a phone call from the county coroner’s office. My brother had died. In a park. Unhoused for years he was found in a bush. I am still shaking. His death a taproot down through the trauma of our family. In a dark time. Be gentle with yourself and with others.

I can't stop thinking about the purported drug smugglers being murdered by the US military. The punishment for drug offenses isn't the death penalty. This is just bloodlust and men in suits playing with lives they don't care about. It's truly grotesque and gravely compromises this country.

THIS
One powerful message that so much of the Epstein “reckoning” is sending to survivors is this: you, as a survivor, are only valuable if your suffering can be used to shame “powerful” men. In other words, survivors are once again being used, which is a prolongation of abuse…

The forgiveness racket. Forgiveness is not justice.
So often survivors are told that forgiving perpetrators is a mandatory step to healing. Forcing people to give grace is an extension of the abuse and a wound to the survivor’s sovereignty…
What people from dominant groups describe as empathy is often a rationale used to disregard harm by abusers, prevent or circumvent natural and logical consequences.

Further it's been weaponized against those (groups) who have been wounded by requiring forgiveness or denial of their injury.

1 in 4 US girls will survive CSA.

90% of perpetrators are family members or trusted care providers.

Can people please stop fetishizing CSA perpetrated by billionaires?

Doing so hurts survivors.

When it’s revealed that “ordinary people” abuse kids, seldom do they receive consequences. But somehow, if we keep repeating Epstein’s name, Trump will receive consequences? Make it make sense.

Any reader of Sarah Kenzidor’s work could see this coming. Anyone who has followed the stories of all the trafficked underage girls understood the gravity and the horror of all that’s happened.

THIS forever and always.
💯 This, all day every day. Love and strength to all survivors.
i really truly wish any of the epstein furore was caused by a genuine concern for cruelty for teenage girls, for exploited kids. it would be a different country if it was, of course, but the discourse is sometimes jarring
