PM Albanese calls on the Coalition to get their act together & stop playing politics with the #Bondi tragedy.
“My message is that this is not a time for partisanship.”
“This is a time for national unity.”
“After the Port Arthur massacre, that is what occurred.” #auspol

These personal attacks are undignified, unwarranted and divisive. The whole press conference was unhinged from reality and dangerous for long term social cohesion. I couldn't be more digusted and disappointed in the LNP's response to a national tragedy.
Sussan Ley spent the press conference blaming the PM, then turned on Penny Wong. Totally over the top. Not a good look. Disgraceful. #auspol #bondi

While in Opposition, Albanese backed the Jewish community against the LNP govt who tried to undermine them by weakening hate speech laws. In govt he’s given them the strongest protections a PM has ever implemented. Anyone booing clearly listens to too much of Sky News or the AJA

That LNP press conference was a disgrace. At a time when our leaders should be pulling us together they are trying to tear us apart. It's so dangerous. Using this tragedy for political gain is abhorrent. #auspol

I really dislike this new trend of attacking politicians if they don’t attend memorial events, by claiming it shows they don’t care about your community, and also booing them when they do attend, because how dare they show their face in your community.

Our hearts are shattered – and some have broken them further
There is no going back to where we were before December 14. But a social contract Australians relied on has been destroyed by the Coalition.

Ah yes, that's where a recently unemployed 24-year-old bricklayer, who spent years hanging around Australia's pro-IS network, and his 50-year-old migrant father were radicalised: university anti-genocide protests 🙄

Be fucking serious for a moment.

As I understand today's discussion, we can stop an ISIS cell by policing the speaker list at writer's festivals and the BA syllabus at Unis. And by "stopping demonstrations." This is madness.

Noticed Epstein was paying for Google search result poisoning and attending hacker conferences

The LNP is at an all time low but it could be worse. Media never question why they claimed even just b4 the election that Net Zero was good for the economy. Never question their broken promises on energy prices inc $550 off bills by axing the carbon tax. Prices went up instead. #auspol
