They have private mini windmills. They look like tulips. Maybe a bit big for a urban yard but someday I want one for my acreage.

Man, I had that night on Monday . Couldn't even eat my oatmeal in the morning. You are so strong to make it to work. Hope it's back to normal levels quickly

4 billion dollars lost to the economy. Mr Fiscal Responsibility conveniently forgets that fact. And the citizens of Ottawa did not find it a peaceful protest at all. Shall we blare truck horns on your lawn 24/7 for weeks? Grow up PP

Why can we not ticket them? They are not allowed the separation question before the courts. They are being children and blocking traffic is an offence. The rest of us have rights too. I am so tired of these people

This is fantastic. We should all have access to this, if we need it

And give pharmacies zero notice, as usual

I wonder the cost to pharmacies for Pfizer? Nice that it's single use vials. Though I'm sure there will be minimum order

Yes. The NACI recommendations do include indigenous people as a high risk group. The list of medical conditions covered is from NACI, but they omitted First Nations and seniors over 65 in Alberta. NACI also said to vaccinate everyone, just most impactful for high risk people

I take great joy in explaining that to people. Anti-facist. You know- like all the Canadians who fought in WW2?

I don't know, maybe this one was on purpose. Give us an inside look at how difficult it is to make arbitrary cuts when what you do is important. It's not like it is military secrets.

It's interesting the degree of variability. When I said I was going to be heating my BC cabin with a heat pump, no one I knew in Alberta even knew what I was talking about 6 years ago

Canada Post “lost” 1 billion dollars last year?

How about, “it cost Canadians 1 billion dollars to have a national postal service” which works out to costing about $25 a year per person (population of Canada in 2024 = 40 million). Seems like a pretty reasonable cost to me.

"Canada Post is on track to lose money" Hum. Duh. It cost less than a toonie to send a letter across Canada.

"Canada Post is a service and not a business" was common knowledge until late stage capitalism brain rotted most people into think if it ain't making money for shareholders, it's failing.

What kind of penalty though? He has been ignoring them for years. He needs a huge fine, or even some jail time, so he can finally realise that his actions have consequences. He thinks he can do whatever he wants.

I noticed this yesterday, when I accidentally started my kitchen order on the US site and redid on Canadian. Don't think I have ever seen lower prices in Canada before but it was CAD 468 vs USD 590

So cool they discovered the cause of autism on basically day they guessed they would. I’m also glad they are withholding this information for a few days to prep for a WrestleMania-style announcement. This is how science works.

I watched on Saturday- great game. I have never watched before. I will need to learn some rules before Saturday. It is amazing when amateurs can win over professionals. GO CANADA!!!

Don’t you dare call us fascists, they say, as they force people off the airwaves for criticizing them while vowing to crush and criminalize their opposition.

Over in the Bad Place, Conservative MPs are faking committee meetings to make people angry.
I wish I were making this up.
There was no meeting scheduled today. The first meeting of this committee this week is on Thursday.
This is bullshit theatre designed to make people angry, and we used to shame MPs who engaged in it.

Quoting MP Larry Brock:
UNBELIEVABLE.

Parliament is back, but Liberal members of the Justice Committee are MISSING IN ACTION.
