I don’t care if the rapists and molesters were Republicans or Democrats. They should all be named and shamed!

If she had voted “No”, every state would be better off. By voting “yes” she is saying that it won’t be too bad for Alaskans and FU to the rest of the country. Not real leadership.
Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski responds to criticism of her vote in favor of the massive GOP domestic policy bill, telling Ryan Nobles that she will “make no excuses” for advocating for Alaska.

Imagine an NYC where we all come together and dance the hora, the bhangra, the dabke, the sirtaki, the salsa, the ceili, the fan dance to Boots on the Ground, etc in like, Times Square.

PA House passes minimum wage bill with tiered county increases
The proposal is designed to appeal to Republican senators, and comes after Pennsylvania Democrats tried unsuccessfully for years to pass a $15 minimum wage

Let’s not forget that earlier today, this day was known as “we cannot build bananas in America” day. That is, until everything went bananas
DEAN: What's the tariff on bananas?

LUTNICK: Generally 10%

DEAN: Walmart has already increased the cost of bananas by 8%

LUTNICK: If you build in America, there is no tariff

DEAN: We cannot build bananas in America

This should be duplicated everywhere!!
At Central Library, Brooklyn

A Trump exec order bans almost 300 words from being used by federal agencies, the military and any org that receives federal funds. These kinds of "editorial" decisions were popular in Germany in the early 30s.

A running list can be found here: pen.org/banned-words...

Republicans in Congress can repeal every tariff tomorrow and take Trump’s tariff authority away from him. But they choose not to. So every Republican in Congress owns EVERY SINGLE BIT of this. You can’t hide from the voters forever.

Your votes for some of the cabinet secretaries was already a vote to shutdown the government.
My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.

Pennsylvanians ask: Is Fetterman useless because he has the worst voting attendance or because his views do not make sense?
Good question. @joshtpm.bsky.social may have better info. But the Dems to push on the funding fight to rein in Musk include the following:

Bennett (CO)
Gallego (AZ)
Hassan (NH)
Hickenlooper (CO)
Kelly (AZ)
Osoff (GA)
Peters (MI)
Slotkin (MI)
Warner (VA)

Call Fetterman too but he is so useless.
Which democratic senators are at risk of voting in favor of the CR? We should be calling their offices.

Going after electeds is good but also make sure you are calling meetings in libraries, town halls and city parks to explain benefit cuts. Educate voters on who is hurting them.
Republicans won’t schedule town halls? Then go to their offices, their homes, their campaign HQs, and host your own. Bring a megaphone and tell stories about how what Trump and the GOP are doing is hurting ordinary Americans. Remind every last one of them who they really answer to.
