I'm sick of the gaslighting and verbal gymnastics of the last 11 months.

The burning of fossil fuels is the main contributor to climate change. Period. We all know this. Stop the insanity.

I'm pretty sick of the verbal gymnastics of the past ten months. So many people switching names of "controversial" study topics for fear it would affect their funding.

We should never fear studying the sciences, we should be wary of what will happen when we stop. Risks don't go away on their own.

"I think the environment should be put in the category of our national security. Defense of our resources is just as important as defense abroad. Otherwise what is there to defend?" - Robert Redford

To all employers out there. Please stop ghosting applicants. If you're a No on someone, have the decency to tell them.

I love this country and am incredibly grateful to have been born here, but we absolutely have our heads up our asses on gun control.

That's scary. I also have a beach weekend in NJ with my family next weekend that's been on the books a while. Guessing that may not happen as Erin is projected to be making huge waves in NJ around the same time.
Cat 5 Erin makes 2025 the 4th consecutive year with a Cat 5 in the Atlantic:

Ian (2022)
Lee (2023)
Beryl and Milton (2024)
Erin (2025)

This ties 2022-2025 with 2016-2019 for the longest streak of years with a Cat 5 in the Atlantic.
#Erin is a textbook case of the explosive intensification rates that pose an increasing problem as the planet's oceans and atmosphere heat up.

Saving grace this time: Erin is on track to avoid making landfall anywhere. Next time: who knows?

We all only get a finite amount of time on this Earth. Try and use yours well to lift up others and leave the world better than you found it. That challange can often seem daunting, but if you find a passion and lean into it, you may surprise yourself.

I just received some amazing news. Last month I pitched a local company on sponsoring students to attend our sustainability conference at Rutgers University next month. They've accepted and now because of that generosity 50 kids will get to attend the entire event for free.

My family has had ties to the DC area for most of my life. I went to a prep school nearby, my older sister did her undergrad and grad school there, we take our kids there at least once a year.

It's a beautiful city. Just felt like that needed to be said today.

To all those who somehow still need to hear it, when POTUS imposes tariffs, we pay them.

Read that again. We. Pay. The. Tariffs

I just heard Zeldin speak on CNN. Dystopian is the first word that comes to mind. Very weird seeing the EPA only focus on economic issues instead of environment and public health.

Revoking the #endangermentfinding is a colossal mistake that will cost lives and billions of dollars. Shortsighted at best.
