Feels like an extension of the whole “gamer = custom PC” thing.

When you think about it, what matters most are games that are fun; frame rates, ray tracing, etc are orthogonal to that.

But for some reason, enough of us want the expensive, shiny thing so here we are!

If 64 GB was the only option previously, that would explain why a game like Octopath Traveler 0 (3.2 GB) was a Game Key Card: probably just too expensive per unit for the publisher at 64 GB. The smaller sizes presumably cost less.

Seems like the frame rate on Switch 2 is similar to PS4: a stable 30 FPS.

I don’t think this is an issue personally but it’s noticeable if you’ve ever played the game on faster hardware.

Looks like it’s the beginning of the game with the bombing run, and your save carries over to the full game.

I loved reading this. It’s only a few minutes long but gives a little more weight to the story.

Fingers crossed these kinds of supplemental materials become more common.

The story is fleshed out a bit more in this databook. It’s too bad we haven’t found a replacement for paper inserts in boxes other than PDFs.

This would’ve been a cool addition to the in-game main menu.
