Sketches for additions to my “Front” series of paintings. I thought I was done with this series, but seeing them all together in the “Head Count” show at Sean Christopher Gallery in Columbus, OH has inspired me to make more! We’re having a mid-exhibition reception on October 4th from 4 to 8 pm. 👍😊

“Peak”, acrylic on three panels, overall dimensions 54 x 60”. There’s a “happy accident” in this photo: some of the actual shadows on the wall line up nearly perfectly with some of the depicted shadows inside the painting. (Look around the lower left and the upper right of the “cloud” panel.)
