It bothers me to see politicians and celebrities casually cursing in public these days, because they’re dulling the power of all these great words! How many times can F-bombs be dropped before they just become F-firecrackers?! 💥

Hmmm, now that you mention it… 🤨

Given what we know of Trump’s shallowness, vanity, and all-around incompetence, I have no problem believing that the ballroom really is his top priority.

Isn’t “protection of federal buildings” the excuse he uses to send ICE into Democratic cities? 🤔

Why would any contractor work for him at this point? He is famous for stiffing construction companies.

I’m guessing a few hundred…? Pretty good for a small town in a fairly conservative area!

New Albany, OH!

Ew.

Go figure… They chose a person fighting for democratic freedoms over a person doing everything he can to destroy democratic freedoms.

They used the same basic gag at least twice on Frazier—once in the coffee shop, and a second time in a gourmet pet food store where Martin was trying to buy food for Eddie. Of course, the image of educated, cultured men not understanding simple things was a part of every episode of that show.

Thanks for the clarification. It didn’t read like something either of you would write.

This is the first one I read, too. Loved it so much I read everything he wrote after that. ❤️

“I don’t know. Maybe it was Utah.” (Raising Arizona.)

Trump will keep covering the farmers’ losses (with our taxes) so they don’t complain too loudly, but how long will he be able to do that?

I’ve heard that about the second shot, but with me it was the first shot that made me feel like I had the flu for a couple days, and the second one was a breeze. 🤔

Yup. He’s not my first choice for the nomination at this point, but I like what he’s doing and I hope a lot of Democrats start doing the same. (And it ought to go without saying, but if he is the nominee, I will vote for him in a heartbeat.)

Yes, but my concern is that unless the files contain absolute proof that Trump sexually assaulted girls, releasing them will be spun by him as an “exoneration,” which his millions of disciples will happily accept. In fact, in their eyes, he’ll be a hero for triumphing over a “witch hunt.”

When I first saw this cover I thought, “That’s not how I picture Joe Ledger!” But you just reminded me this is Church’s origen story, and I can easily picture the young Church looking like this! Kudos to the artist!
