and I won’t even really be completely alone! I have friends I can hang with virtual or otherwise, I could bop around the city, see movies, go to museums, etc.

and like, actually sticking to taking the time for myself, wholly. every time I see my family for the holidays I just feel miserable and come home sobbing. I’ll be alone but it’s *leagues* better than being somewhere I’m not valued.
