From our friends at @gristnews.bsky.social: At any given moment, more than 10,000 satellites are whizzing around the planet at roughly 17,000 miles per hour. But space is getting crowded.
Earth Orbit Is Filling Up with Junk. Greenhouse Gases Worsen the Problem.
By the end of the century, a shrinking atmosphere could create a minefield for satellites, like those deployed by SpaceX's Starlink.

I spent almost 2 hours painstakingly copying the orbits of all 128 Saturnian moons from the announcement MPEC and reformatting them for visualization...

Behold, here are the orbits of ALL 128 MOONS OF SATURN. This isn't just a moon system—it's a literal asteroid belt around Saturn! 🧪🔭☄️

NGC 3576 Statue of Liberty Nebula
Do you see her, Lady Liberty (NGC 3576)? With an outstretched arm she is holding the torch, and if you look closely, with a little imagination, you might think she is wearing a crown (but that’s just gas and dust being zapped by high-energy light from massive stars)

They need to be indicted for this crime!
Tiffany Flick, former SSA Chief of Staff, just exposed how Musk’s DOGE boys hijacked the SSA—ignoring laws, crushing oversight, and executing an aggressive coup to serve their own interests.

This isn’t just corruption; it’s a hostile takeover of our safety net.

The declaration is the first in-depth public account from a high-ranking government executive of how Musk’s team is operating at one of dozens of agencies.

This video shows that we need to get a forensic audit of the 2024 election in the 7 swing states (AZ, NZ, MI, WI, NC, PA, and GA) which would show trump did not legitimately win the election. The first five would be enough to show it.

Tell your neighbors and relatives in these states!

Why would any Senate Dem vote for the CR, now that Rubio has confirmed that Trump-Musk will simply cancel congressionally-authorized funding they don't like? That's a vote to neuter yourselves.

On the pod, Tom Malinowski is great on why Dems can't bail out Trump:

Why are American universities giving these genocidal monsters a platform WHILE THE GENOCIDE IS ONGOING? It's bad enough they are even considered, but at the very least you would think that an ongoing genocide would be grounds for refusing to host them on the most basic ethical grounds.

This is right. What's at stake is Congress' Article I spending and lawmaking authority.

If that goes, Congress will be little more than an informal advisory panel for the White House.

It's only a constitutional "crisis" if Article I prevails in this fight. If not, it's the constitutional endgame.
Here's a key reason Senate Dems shouldn't vote for the CR: Trump and Musk are the ones who are *already* shutting down the government. That's the frame the public will use to understand what's happening.

Check out my exchange with @tommalinowski.bsky.social on this:
