Similar to high school, where we’re told both to increase rigor and to achieve our district goal of 98% graduation rate. Kinda hard to do both at the same time with no additional resources.

The whole point of all that noise about pushing for American energy independence, which we now basically have, was that we would no longer be so economically dependent on Middle Eastern oil. That was the pitch to people. OK, we're now a net energy exporter. Mission accomplished! Cut them loose.
