It's been 2 years since i went to Wells Cathedral!
A large cathedral west front constructed from light coloured stone. Its screen-like surface is covered in hundreds of individual statues dotted around the buttresses and windows. Two large and heavy towers stand to either side. In front of the building is a vast green lawn. A cathedral nave interior. To either side are tall arcades of faceted arches. Many wooden chairs line the floor in rows towards the communion table, lit by two candles. Above the nave is a pointed vault with painted decorations. At the end of the nave are a pair of unique "scissor" arches crossing from one arcade to the other. An ancient cathedral staircase of light stone, featuring colonnettes of dark marble. The stairs sweep up and to the right and are heavily worn by footfall. A cathedral chancel interior. Choir stalls of dark wood stand to the left and right of an arcaded space with fine, delicate stonework. At the end of the space behind an altar are three narrow arches, above which 7 statues stand. Above the statues is a window with colourful stained glass and complex tracery. The vault above is of a net-like design.

hi on January 10 at around 9 pm, someone stole this backpack and a laptop bag out of my car while I was loading up to evacuate from the LA fires. whoever took it please return the sentimental items, particularly a bag with handwritten notes from my parents and my dads lord of the rings books
