You can't make me afraid. Immigrants. They commit crimes 10x less than citizens. I don't fear them.
Drugs? Oh please, you want to tell me it's ok to buy 10 gallons of vodka but not a joint? I don't fear them.
The only thing I truly fear in 2026 are the Evangelical Christians and their faux leader.

ER doc here! This is a lie. Wait times are up because the American healthcare system is an unsustainable business model and a for-profit national healthcare system just doesn’t work. These problems will continue to get worse until we change that system. It literally has nothing to do with immigrants
Vance: "If you're an American citizen & you've been to the hospital in the last few years, you've probably noticed wait times are especially large & very often somebody who's there in the ER is an illegal alien. Why do those people get healthcare benefits at hospitals paid for by American citizens?"

Trying to identify opioids and other drugs in pharmacy data (claims, PDMP, etc.)? Use my code to quickly build a list of national drug codes (NDCs) using the free public database RxNorm.

I wrote this code to replace the CDC's now-discontinued opioid NDC dataset.

Small thread announcing a new book: So, for the last five years I've been working on this book. It's a lyrics collection, but there's a lot more to it than that, because just printing up my lyrics for sale would not be my style.

The new Neil Halloran documentary on Smallpox has completely changed how I see the RFK Jr. version of the world. Neil (softly) argues that realizing that disease isn't the fault of the sick /or/ the fault of the Gods ushered in a new future where we felt the authority to care for each other.

the thing I hate most about that rfk quote is that autistic lives have value and worth and beauty and dignity whether they are able to do the things other people do or not. no one is defined by ability or lack thereof and to frame divergence as lack is monster stuff, utterly godless
