This is a good free up to date word processing app and more
Still using OpenOffice? Be aware that it's no longer getting updates, and has multiple year-old unfixed security issues: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_... – To be safe, switch to one of the actively maintained successor projects (such as LibreOffice).

Librarys are really important for communities still today
I am working out of a public library and there are a good number of people who seem to be on hard times using the facilities for various reasons like job searching, entertainment, charging peripherals, using the bathroom, etc., and I am struck by how important it is that libraries continue to exist

#newyear #budget Hope everyone has a good New Year. I've just audited a lot of my spending habits and am scaling back on what I'm going to spend. Would be cool if @neocities.org had an option to just pay $60 once a year instead of $5 a month over the whole year I'm trying to minimize monthly cost.

Old school Sims for the win. Whether it's the Sims for PS2 or the Sims or Sims. 2. I think after that it really drops off. I really like the urbzs for game boy advance too
The Sims 1

Despite what the series has become now, the first game was something special. It has this certain vibe that none of the sequels has really captured.

If you can. Choose differently. (Not a possibility for everyone)

- Use Linux instead of Windows/MacOS.
- Stop using Alphabet/Google, Meta, Microsoft etc. platforms as much as you possibly can.
- Build on OpenSource platforms.
- Learn how to self-host instead of using cloud.

Prepare yourself.
