Jury trials in England & Wales for crimes that carry a likely sentence of less than 3 years will be scrapped.

Bad move

Money may be saved but justice and trust in the system will be the biggest casualty.

Poor and minorities at the mercy of toff judges.

The thing about NATO is the USA has already left.

But they are still in control of it.

Please tell me what's the use of an organisation that will force you to do what someone else (Donald Trump) demands, but won't protect you at all.

While you pay a fortune into it.

In the 1960s more than 40% of the money you spent went straight back to Government, everything spent on Water, Oil, Gas, Coal, Electricity, Social Housing, Telecoms, Steel, Ships...

Now it's less than 5%, the rest all goes to billionaires Tax Havens

That's why there is no money

By eroding trial by jury, the government is cementing its legacy as a bulldozer of our human rights.

This is the behaviour of authoritarian regimes!

The right to a jury trial is a fundamental tenet of democracy. We cannot let it be destroyed.

There is an emergency in our courts which needs tackling – but addressing that doesn’t require ripping up rights.

We’re demanding that the NHS stops using Palantir’s toxic tech.

Because they were created before we had environmental rules, many older landfills have no lining, they don't have filtration systems for rainwater runoff, + there were no restrictions on what could go into them - think of lead acid batteries, old flypaper treated with arsenic, PFOA on old pans.
By compiling FOI data, government records and public sources, we located over 60,000 landfill and waste sites across Europe. Most were likely created before modern environmental regulations.

Is it any surprise that the Labour Governments response is to continually try and take swipes at the Green Party?
