It's a very damp day in Lincolnshire today. So here's the #Rover #BRM gas turbine Le Mans racer, driven by Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart, for no particular reason other than it's pretty cool.

Got a very good deal on Vinted for this superb heavy weight book that I remember reading plaudits for when it came out 35 years back. Good weekend reading

The Mole is moving along. I'd like to convert the kit to slope the drill downwards at 45 degrees for the launch position. A bit of 3D designing is underway.

My mini Ford case ended up accidentally being the first collection on temporary display in the new place while moving things around.

Not mad about it 😁

This is as finished as it’s going to be this year…I might tweak it at some point but not for a while…no title. Perhaps I’ll copy Graham Greene and call it…An Entertainment…

I’m calling this done , there are a couple of figures to paint that but these will have to wait until next week after York IPMS Model Show on Saturday. When I get a moment, I need to get the SLR out and redo these and then photoshop a suitable background #histscalemodels

Ongoing fun and games with the Embar Bedford breakdown lorry. Snap 1 is a dry fit thingy to see how it will look. I've got some decals from the Hannants cave of wonders in the mail. The wheels and hubs needed fettling but its all good. The results, so far, are really pleasing. #histscalemodels

My Airfix 1/72 Spitfire Mk Vc is ready. Coming from the 2020 range release for which new molds are used what can be seen in most parts having a good fit (except for the canopy). Airbrushing went better by using other needle sizes, a lower air pressure and retarder.

Abandoning Group B or simply "writing off" the cost were not options.

Executives decided to use the lessons learned developing that vehicle in preparing a new, purpose-built rally car.

200 parts kits and one road-legal car were needed for homologation. The RS200 originally cost £49,995 in 1985.
