4K X-Men '97 plays without any noticeable delays.

The only issue seems to be HDR->SDR color mapping (bright X-Men colors seem to be washed out a bit), but that's an issue for another day.

Yes - in a connected persistent universe.

Players could start out joining the Empire/Old Republic/Alliance/New Republic and once they mastered the basics of working in multi-functional group, graduate to set up their own offshoots, pirate groups, etc.

With the introduction of ground combat with "Odyssey", Elite Dangerous is *very* close to this, and we'll see how much closer they get with their upcoming "Operations" expansion.

My ETERNAL suggestion to LucasArts would be to create a consistent networking platform for their space sims, ground strategy, and other games to let players form fleets. Strategic folks could play something akin to "Rebellion" or "Battlegrounds", while more twitchy players get X-Wing or Battlefront.
