🚨 “Can I tell you how many times in the last 45 years the European Court of Human Rights has ruled against the UK when it comes to deporting people from this country - only 13 times - in 45 years”

Hugely important point made by @vicderbyshire.bsky.social 👏

I think Transactual put it best (in reference to the girl guides) and now Labour too:

"There is no problem being solved here, only harm being done."

All to appease the right, who hate them anyway - shame on them.

60% of the British public agree: the voting system is not fit for purpose.

The upcoming Elections Bill is a chance to fix it.

Just a word or praise for Riccardo Calafiori last night. Seeing him at right wing backheeling to Ben White in the penalty area and then marauding forward at almost centre forward was incredible.

Bayern Munich, who twice went 20ish minutes without getting into the Arsenal penalty area, ended this game with 0.68 xG.

That is the third *most* xG by an Arsenal opponent in Premier League and European games this season.

That second half from Arsenal was fucking sensational. As good as you could possibly hope to put in against a team as good as this.

Bossed it 100%. Madueke with his first goal, and then Martinelli, no less than we deserved. And Bayern offered NOTHING after the break.

Hello Europe, we're Arsenal

Arsenal have played 19 games so far this season in all competitions. They have won 16, drawn two & lost just one. They have kept 13 clean sheets, failed to score in only one game, netted 42 goals & conceded just seven. And all this despite having between three and seven players out simultaneously.

TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS
1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.

Some grim polling here for Labour from Ipsos beyond the headline figures

-69% think Britain is heading in the wrong direction
-Starmer's satisfaction rating at -66
-50% of the public want "radical change" yet only 4% believe Labour will deliver it.
