Hello world, I’ve shedded my twitter and started anew. At a time that feels very transformational for me personally, it feels right to begin again. Cutting aid to fund defence, Mr Starmer, is both cruel and self-defeating. I agree we need to defend ourselves. But creating a less stable, less humane world is no way to do it.

The wind is whistling outside, the rain is hammering on the skylights and I’m under the electric blanket with a book. It’s times like these when chronic illness doesn’t feel so bad.

As well as shedding the old socials to prevent contributing to the broligarchy, I’m researching how to de-Google my internet services. Best I’ve found is Proton which offers email, calendar, drive and vpn, is open source and fully encrypted so nobody is tracking of stealing my data. Any other recs?
