We no longer live in a world where pop-stoicism is acceptable. People protected their peace so hard that they practically hand delivered Trump back into the white house.
respectfully, if one more person tells me to "just breath" i am going to explode. it's okay to feel your emotions. it's good, even. you can rage and cry and crash out for a little while before you get your shit together and get back to work.

Something that's really fun about growing up in a Christian fundamentalist, deeply conservative family and doing all the deconstruction work yourself is how blisteringly lonely it can be on the other side. And how much more distressing days like today can be.
