The govt new Road Safety Strategy has nice piccies of children walking, cycling or in pushchairs but I can't work out from the text what will actually reduce child pedestrian casualties in the near future. Pedestrian detection tech in new cars won't have an effect for a decade.

I don't get why Reform and the Tories want someone to lose their citzenship because of anti-semitic taunts years ago; but don't want Farage's citizenship taken away because of anti-semitic taunts years ago. If one goes so should the t'other.

I nibbled haws today. Never seen so many red berries. Stepfather called haws cheese and ate a lot when his family lived in deep poverty in the 1930s. Beautiful day. Blue sky. November was warmest on record. Mild December so far.
