Grateful to have spent a week at the University of Warsaw’s Current Debates in Publishing Studies Summer School earlier this month – a fantastic programme of insightful sessions, engaging discussions and even some sightseeing…

Huge thanks to all involved and @sgsah.bsky.social for funding the trip!
A modern atrium with tall glass windows and vertical green vines. A slate board with beef tartare, egg yolk and mustard alongside a blue-coloured hardback book called ‘Murder at the MLA’ and a bread basket. Aerial view of Warsaw's Old Town, featuring colourful historic buildings, a wide plaza with people, and a clear blue sky.

Saddened by the death of Tony Harrison but grateful for the A Level English teacher - Dr Richard Bateson - who set us V to read only a short while after it was written. A coruscating, meditative text that made my class see poetry can be about the political here and now www.lrb.co.uk/the-paper/v0...

My time as Glasgow Zine Library's funding intern has come to an end! I am so grateful to @sgsah.bsky.social for offering paid internships for PGRs. The team at GZL were so welcoming and attentive to my development needs (I leave the role with a PVG, 420+ hours of experience, and SO MANY ZINES)
