This is the most helpful thing I can say to a white person wondering about how they are perceived.

When I encounter a “stereotypical white person” who speaks and behaves the way a huge group of white people speak and behave

I avoid you.

I don’t owe you an audience, a chance, or free tutoring.

If the Democrats don't articulate a clear/better alternative vision then there is no reason why the people will entrust them to repair what Trump has broken. If Democrats do nothing then nothing will come of the damage, only more damage.

I guess the Republicans have solved the aging president problem by simply delegating all the decision making power to an unelected funder in his fifties and letting the presidency become a ceremonial position for an addled, rump figurehead.
Pretty clear that the operating principle here is that the law is whatever Elon Musk’s current whim dictates.
musk's new thing is telling anyone doing or saying anything he disagrees with that they are committing a crime

I am just feeling down lately. Not sure if it's seasonal blues or American politics or both. probably both. When can we start building a better tomorrow. Why are we not investing in sustainability? Doubling down on oil. It's like America is just giving a big ol' middle finger to the climate.
