TCL was one of my first professional programming languages ... what goes around comes around
Announcing: MCP server for user defined functions in TCL

Enables models to write & execute code, and register functions as MCP tools.

Why TCL? Because it's the Tool Command Language a string-native language designed for this purpose in the 80s by John Ousterhout

This was a very good read, especially how Millennials were not raised to accept uncertainty and how small tasks that cannot be optimized and only benefit them fall to the wayside www.buzzfeednews.com/article/anne...
How Millennials Became The Burnout Generation
I couldn’t figure out why small, straightforward tasks on my to-do list felt so impossible. The answer is both more complex and far simpler than I expected.

Do PMs take to AI b/c it's no different than how they work with Engineering? Write doc, submit to black box, get back partial feature, re-write doc, repeat, repeat, ship?

Subverting our capacity for empathy is key to the AI survival playbook. If your browser started visiting sites you never chose, you'd install a different one.

If they can trick you into treating 'the computer' like a human, all of these infuriating failures become amusing quirks.

Everyone looking at AI is invested in the idea that the things it can do were magic emergent unprogrammed capabilities. But has anyone looked at the data it was fed for evidence of math, deception, and rogue AIs protecting source code from humans?

idk but this doesn't sound like panic but a solid defense
I got a sales call earlier and when they asked me if I was Alex, I panicked and said no. And when they asked when I'd be home, I said "I have no idea, maybe later this week"? Like if I'm some mysterious drifter who just comes and goes
