Half the world’s architecture school output was for about 15 years was all ‘parametricism’ aka ‘landscape urbanism’ - making unbuildibly complex shapes on the computer.
But as the real world has no call for this nonsense, its adherents have to go back and teach, perpetuing the cycle.
