Relocating felt like an adventure when we were newlyweds. Once we had kids, we passed up lucrative opportunities to put down roots for our family.
Relocating for a new job was never a big deal. Having kids changed things; we're not moving now, even for a big opportunity.

I know we keep focusing on Colbert and Kimmel as we should, but we also need to remember there are hundreds of people who work for these shows who also just lost their jobs because of this bullshit, and most of them are probably not millionaires.

that fox news host still has his job.

Also, our standard now is that it had to have caused “concern” for Ghislaine Maxwell to be problematic?? Ummmm…obviously sexually abusing minors never caused her “concern” BECAUSE SHE PARTICIPATED IN IT
On left:

ABC: Ghislaine Maxwell told "Blanche that Trump had never done anything in her presence that would have caused concern."

On right:

Maxwell said same about Epstein, under oath.

DOJ 2022: "Simply put, the defendant lies when it suits her."

Whatever is the truth, she's no source for it.

I'm friendly with people who work on this program, the largest food relief program in the world. Do you know what their only job is? Saving lives. End the program, end lives.
The Trump administration has ended funding to U.N. World Food Program emergency programs helping keep millions alive in impoverished countries, many of them struggling with conflict, according to the organization and officials who spoke to The Associated Press.
The U.S. ends lifesaving food aid for millions. The World Food Program calls it a 'death sentence.'
The agency said it was in contact with the Trump administration “to urge for continued support” for lifesaving programs.

The hidden power of marathon Senate speeches: What history tells us about Cory Booker’s 25-hour oration
In some cases, long Senate speeches don’t produce clear results. In other cases, they can help pass or prevent new legislation.

Sen. Booker’s speech was a substantive and moral account of this moment. He did not read the phone book. He did not babble.
For 24 hours @booker.senate.gov laid out a detailed, damning, and critical narrative of truth, history, politics, morality, humanity.

I am 54 years old. I stepped back from Moms Demand Action after 11 years because I understood that power is finite. Organizations and nations can’t evolve if they don’t have new rolling leadership. This isn’t about age, it’s about hoarding power.
Not going for this idea at all. You might want to revisit this notion when you hit 60.
