The president of the United States is extorting the Federal Reserve Board Chairman by threatening criminal prosecution if he doesn't lower interest rates.

DOJ is compromised, legacy media is cowed and Big Law is AWOL. As I wrote last year: "We are on our own."

President Biden took steps to regulate the predatory payday lending industry, which charges 400% interest on average and traps the working poor in a cycle of debt. Trump's defanged (and functionally useless) CFPB has removed those guardrails.

A font that works for dyslexic people *really is* DEI -- it is Inclusion. Trump personally ordered all government documents to use fonts that work less well for dyslexic people, explicitly because it is DEI. A hugely costly change for no purpose other than exclusion.

Trump & GOP just ordered 500 TONS of food torched that could’ve fed 1.5  million kids for a week. $800K blown to buy it, $130K more to burn it, all to flex their “America First” cruelty. This isn’t policy—it’s arson against humanity. Vote them OUT.

Park staff warn having fewer rangers on duty is more than a staffing issue, it’s a safety issue. The protection of the parks ecosystems are also being neglected.

How much of the Federal Budget goes to Federal employees?

Just 4%—seriously.

So firing 275,000+ barely puts a dent in spending, but it jeopardizes science, health, education, oversight, etc. It’s never been about govt. savings, just ideological restructuring towards autocracy.

That means they paid a higher effective tax rate than 5 of the richest Americans…and a higher effective tax rate than 55 mega corporations.
