At 1:30PM, I looked at my office and said "I hate it", knowing I couldn't move my equipment, rearrange furniture and have everything up by 9:00PM, I decided to clean up and rearrange, and to temporarily store stuff in the storage area until I figured out if I needed it or not.

So the other laptop came in, it's a X1 Carbon 4th Gen. Which admittedly I kinda wanted an X1 Carbon a few years ago, but it has LPDDR3, which means can never upgrade the RAM.
Neither a great for my husband's goals, so I am going to offer him my old trashy Ideapad, which actually would work well.

The HP Elitebook 820 G2 that I got only has a TPM 1.2, so for a modern OS, it’ll be Linux.
However, it has an easily replaceable 2.5” SSD and two RAM slots that can do DDR 3, 1600Mhz 1.35V RAM, comes with a cell modem and a GPS module.
So while I barely travel, would be a good travel machine

Okay, found a problem with the rendering farm, every couple hundred frames, the manager has gone and crashed. I haven't seen a crash log, so perhaps I just have to run it full tilt on one computer for now. But I was also running in cycles, but since it didn't look different, gonna try EVEEE.

Welp sent something to the render farm. First time it failed because it wouldn't generate a video. That's file, I changed the settings and have it making a 72000 image sequence now....

I do t have to physically be at work until 11am this morning, but I still have to do an at home bit beforehand, and it’s after 8 and I just seem to motivate myself to start moving.

Setup a Blender rendering cluster yesterday, took hours to figure out shared drives without authentication on Windows 11, so I said f-that and just used authentication.
Neat thing I found, authentication in a workgroup wants a local account and Microsoft try to get rid of local accounts so >.<

Tonight I popped into VRChat with a new revision of my Winterpaw Feline, I wanted to test out the general idea. It worked and looked good imho.
So next steps is to finish the base design in Blender, then go ahead and build the VRM stuff, add one more clothing piece and also get ready for VRC.
