@vicmsong.bsky.social Hey! I think I remember you mentioning on a Vergecast episode that you prefer a watch for tracking workouts, but also wear a smart ring. Question: do you take the ring off? Do you stress over duplicate data?

(I’m stuck between an Oura 4 or a Watch Series 10 to replace my S6.)

I have never been a Movie Person (I was raised in a books and music household, sorry!) but I’ve been working on filling in my blind spots. I want to watch more this year so I downloaded Letterboxd and I…have no idea how you guys rate movies? Like everything I watch is “huh, pretty good, I liked it”

This is the worst thing Adobe has ever done. Worse than the bloated and overpriced subscription. Just make a normal fucking app without all this cruft! I’m begging!

The Destiny 2 app isn’t great by any means, but more games absolutely should have a companion app, especially ones where you gotta manage stats and inventory and stuff.

I hope Starfield has one.

Friggin’ sheesh, S2E6 of The Bear somehow managed to be twice as stressful as the most stressful episodes from S1.

How many people you think could genuinely tell the difference between an iced Americano and an iced coffee in a blind taste test?

Asking on behalf of my local coffee shop having to deal with the most influencer-lookin’ girl giving them a hard time about it this morning.

Surprise, surprise: the people who want to keep my street a dangerous, deadly car sewer have a financial interest in keeping it that way and are committing soft fraud to do so. https://www.thecity.nyc/2023/6/13/23759703/keep-mcguinness-moving-greenpoint-broadway-stages-gina-argento
This Powerful Family Is Fighting Safety Measures for a Deadly Greenpoint Street
Of 59 companies that are part of a supposedly grassroots effort to fight the plan, 38 can be traced back to the Argentos, who also own the neighborhood’s big movie studio.

Is Oppenheimer gonna have, like, an intermission or am I going to choose between sitting at the edge of the theater and the single greatest benefit of movie theaters, which is a giant Icee?

So stoked that I got reservations for New York’s hottest table next week. Anyone in? I have on open seat.
the best sad lunch in nyc can be found at the buffet at 100 broad street. half the food is weirdly chewy, it somehow ends up costing like $17, and the dining area in the basement has wobbly tables and a big screen that plays eurodance videos on mute. you gotta check it out. it’s terrible
