A lot of the left don't like him because they believe he reneged on his 10 pledges that were key to him winning the Labour leadership and also that played a role in a Labour Together plan to smear Jeremy Corbyn and depose him from the Labour party.

My corner of Europe has had Murdoch for longer than the US has, it's f'd it up no end. He was always enti European, more because they didn't jump when he said jump than any other reason.
