Disobeying the police is NOT punishable by death.

In fact the only role of police is to investigate crimes and apprehend alleged suspects to be prosecuted in a court of law.

The bottom line is this: the Constitution guarantees the right to a trial and forbids cruel and unusual punishement, so even if she wasn't obeying their orders the ICE agents duty was to apprehend her and prosecute in court NOT to unilaterally dole out a death sentence with no trial.

Reason #782 to ditch Google and switch to Brave for browser and search, and switch to @proton.me for email, cloud files, docs, calendar, VPN, etc.
