Matt Jefferies is — or should be — a hero to #StarTrek fans, but…I am not sure large planters say “recreation” to me.

There are things to like and things to dislike about Harlan Ellison’s script for City on the Edge of Forever.
One great element: his Rand is a badass. #startrek

Possible evidence that an editor was covering both his a** and Mr. Shatner's during post-production for "That Which Survives". Modesty was not preserved, as the "Wardrobe Malfunction" made it into the final cut. Editor's job security?...unknown.

Happy Star Trek Day!
On Sept. 6, 1966, Star Trek debuted in Canada. Two days later on Sept. 8, the show aired in the rest of the world.
Here is a look at the times Canada appeared in various capacities in the fictional history of the Star Trek universe.

#StarTrek trivia: In The Corbomite Maneuver, the transporter is used to test the air before beaming over.

KIRK: Transporter ready?
SCOTT: ...We're locked on what appears to be a main deck.
KIRK: Air sample?
SCOTT: Breathable. In fact, a slightly higher oxygen content than our own.

On this day in 2007, Percy Rodriguez died.
Born in 1918 in Montreal, he had a steady acting career, including in The Fugitive and Star Trek. He is most famous for his voice-over work on movie trailers like Alien, Jaws, Taxi Driver, The Exorcist, Wayne's World and much more.
