Maybe I'm just feeling grumpy, but it doesn't seem to be in the spirit of the game for someone to post multiple entries. If it's just me, I'll shut up.

She will start her new job on The View on January 6th.

They were originally the Buffalo Beaks.

If I were a regular buyer of burnt, overpriced coffee, I would definitely be boycotting Starbucks right now. Solidarity!

Deep down, he knew she was right...

They were all in on it. They all knew the deal.

I've been using that same argument in favor of a nationalized health care system for years. The insurance model is appropriate for cars and houses, not people's health.

Fake outrage. It's just a show. They all agreed that 8 of them would vote yes. They all caved.

So why are you getting ready to cave? Seriously. Why? You care more about military contractors than you do about families in Eau Claire. Hypocrite.

Kudos to the local television station, WMTV, for reporting the story of the local No Kings march without distorting anything. They let people speak, they didn't have an agenda, and they didn't give "equal time" to trolls. They just reported on why people stated they marched.

I'm sure it's nice, but the label "workforce housing" needs to be reconsidered. It sounds like a term Scrooge would reference to justify not donating to charity.

Like being trapped at the urinal listening to the one crazy uncle you were trying to avoid at the family reunion, who is yelling over the stall wall while he's taking a dump.

The only reason this is better than Foxconn is because Microsoft seems to be actually building something, but it won't last. Most of the jobs are temporary construction jobs. Not worth giving up our water. 😕

Good article about the changes to Manhattan since the arrival of Europeans. Who is "we"?

Just listened to it. What a great conversation. Funny, relaxed, honest, just a touch of bitter to make it nostalgic, but mostly just funny. Nobody does it better than these guys. 10 out of 10.

It's about the water. Same with Foxconn, although that was obviously a scam that flopped. Every significant corporate investment in Wisconsin going forward is about access to water. Nothing else. When they're done draining or polluting our clean water, they will move on.

Listened to the episode today. I didn't learn a thing. Every time the host asked what the science says, the guest pivoted to some history about food dye regulation. He even slipped in an endorsement of the Whole Foods supermarket chain. 😕 I am left still wondering what the science says.
