Touching article from a few years ago.

Getting to the point where we push back the sin of racism requires everybody to speak up. Against racism by any person in any group to any person in any group.

There are a lot of white Americans with biracial kids/grandkids.

I support you @gtconway.bsky.social but not this and this could cause a major problem. I am sure Leonard Leo was good with immunity decision. Good Lord, George. You can't tell me that you don't think the CIC is a bit creepy? And I am a Catholic.
Oh, Mr. George, we agree with you on so much but not on this. Leonard Leo’s ideals are antiquated and discriminatory. His allegiance to Opus Dei principles are scary to say the least. As a woman, the person would rather he have no influence whatsoever in anything related to jurisprudence.

Watched the first half of Ken Burns' film The American Revolution last night. May be the best Burns yet, and I learned A LOT that I didn't know before.

It's a must-watch for anyone who wants a richer understanding of how the US came to be.

‘The American Revolution’ Review: In Divided Times, Ken Burns Trumpets a Unifying Dictum: No Kings
Indie Wire

King-sized and king-skewering documentary

Not over interpreting the series, so far it is granular in detail and an on the ground recitation of facts

A definite must watch!

‘The American Revolution’ Review: In Divided Times, Ken Burns Trumpets a Unifying Dictum: No Kings
Much has changed in 250 years, but Ken Burns' encyclopedic study of 'The American Revolution' finds a rallying cry in rejecting despots —then and now.

Reminder:

@kenlburns.bsky.social excellent documentary on the American Revolution starts streaming tonight!

Don’t miss it!
A couple of months ago, I had the chance to watch @kenlburns.bsky.social six-part doc on the American Revolution.

It was, unsurprisingly, fantastic — and like I do with all of Ken’s documentaries, I’m going to rewatch it soon.

All six parts start streaming this Sunday night on all PBS platforms!
