A major lawsuit to end Elon Musk’s takeover of the federal government has landed before one of Donald Trump’s least favorite judges—Tanya Chutkan, who presided over Trump’s federal election interference case.

Over the last four years, USAID has spent $1 million in SpaceX’s Starlink terminals, according to federal contract records. That money helped bring Starlink to Zimbabwe and South Africa, where Musk is from.

This is an excellent summary of our situation, which is quite bad.

It’s not just that they’re breaking laws. They’re breaking laws that are centrally important to our constitutional order and are constitutive of its identity. They are targeting the best parts of what democracy has built here.
