Fascinating. Contrary to predictions of a Cuomo landslide in the day-of votes to offset a Mamdani lead in the early vote, Mamdani's lead is looking solid.

My sense is that the underpolled and underestimated aunties/uncles bloc — the Mamdani campaign's big strategic investment — is doing its thing.

I can't emphasize enough how ugly and pervasive and persistent the "Mamdani hates Jews" campaign was. I'm happy that so many Jews stood strong against that vileness. Maybe people will start to understand that we've had it with being treated as a paranoid, easily manipulated single-issue bloc.
