A Facebook post in Hell Yeah Prince George: Some very sad news today as we heard about the passing of Wesley Mitchell. I got to know Wesley thru our many community meetings, UHNBC drum group and when we both ran for city council in 2022. He always so kind, caring and a strong voice in our community! Passionate, energetic and positive. He will be missed and I send out my most sincere condelences to his family, friends and community🙏🏻Below is a story on his passing from My Prince George Now. -The Prince George community has lost an inspiring and impactful voice. Wesley Mitchell, co-founder of the University Hospital of Northern B.C. Drummers passed away according to social media posts from friends and family. Ron Gallo who was friends with Wesley, said most of the community will remember him best for what he did. “If you go back to the pandemic days, Wes was the leader of the drums that was trying to send good vibes to the patients and the healthcare workers in the hospitals, and that continued.” “Wes continued with that spiritual healing and brought the power of the drum into our community.” Mitchell also ran for Prince George Council in the city’s previous election. A drumming will be held at the University Hospital of Northern B.C. to honour Wesley Mitchell tonight (Thursday) at 6:30. A photo of a man with a drum group

An Instagram post from Mick Foley that reads: PARTING WAYS WITH WWE While I have been concerned about WWE's close relationship with Donald Trump for several months - especially in light of his administration's ongoing cruel and inhumane treatment of immigrants (and pretty much anyone who "looks like an immigrant") — reading the President's incredibly cruel comments in the wake of Rob Reiner's death is the final straw for me. I no longer wish to represent a company that coddles a man so seemingly void of compassion as he marches our country towards autocracy. Last night, I informed @WWE talent relations that I would not be making any appearances for the company as long as this man remains in office. Additionally, I will not be signing a new Legends deal when my current one expires in June. I love WWE, will always treasure my time with them, and I am deeply appreciative for all the opportunities they afforded me. But, in the words of Popeye the sailor, "I stands all I can stands, and I can't stands no more."
