I finally upgraded my Hulu to ad free (my last plan was free with Spotify) and the first thing I’m (re) watching is Golden Girls. Trying to watch a 30 min show on Hulu with ads was torture.

My 3 year old started pre-k and one of my first thoughts was “I’m glad the police station is across the street in case there’s a shooting at the school”. Thoughts no parent, let alone one of a 3 year old, should be thinking when sending our babies to school.
Each semester I go in my classroom and I try to figure out what we would use to block the doors, if it would be safe to crawl out the windows, where we could hide if there was a mass shooter in campus. It’s such an indictment of this country how we have normalized these preventable tragedies.
