The Beatles "Yellow Submarine" movie originally had LPs for sound because they thought the film sound wasn't good enough. They'd sync the record to picture by hand. You can imagine how well that worked.

It's a perversion of sexuality. It's about power & control, as though penetrative sex is ownership & dominance. Women who don't choose that fills them with blind rage.

Nothing vexes them more than chattel that talks back or walks away.

I don't have any 16s but they used them for speeches they layed us in school.

Even rarer, they used to use giant discs to record and rebroadcast radio shows. They had a cutting lathe in the studio and special turntables.

They used 16rpm for spoken word. They do sound well crunchy, but they're good enough to hear the words. Human speech has a limited bandwidth.
